Sweet, exactly as it should be

No sugary sweet, tooth breakers, no, at The Cakery the proportions are just right. You taste the ingredients as they are meant to be tasted. Owner Nadia rules the kitchen and her watchful eye ensures that all creations come out of the oven perfectly. Here, you sit down for pure enjoyment, with the bonus that a trip to the dentist afterwards is not necessary.

From cheesecake in red velvet flavour, a decadent piece of chocolate cake, moist brownies and macaroons, to the most delicious pistachio creations in large and small sizing. At The Cakery, it is without a doubt a feast for the eyes and mouth.

Sit down or take away

The interior of The Cakery is a combination of sleek design and opulent luxury. White with gold forms the colour palette of the catering establishment.

Inside, there are comfortable seats with beautiful small tables and there is patio furniture in front of the door. The location offers seating to about 16 to 20 people.

If you want to enjoy The Cakery's pastries at home, take a slice of cake or a brownie home with you. Together with a drink to-go, such as a matcha latte or a pistachio coffee. The fresh homemade lemonades are also highly recommended.

Friendly staff

All customers are welcomed in a friendly manner and are properly helped. Nadia herself is a ray of sunshine and radiates good energy. That makes sense, with such a nice job. Owner of a successful cake shop where the cakes are sold out every day. That does a person good, of course.

Practical information

The Cakery came to light at the end of 2019. The doors of the Karel Doormanstraat opened a few years ago. You are welcome from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00.

Orders for birthdays or parties, for example, can be placed and picked up in the store itself.
