Stobá gets a rating of 8.9 out of 10 stars on The Fork. That is very high and to be honest: well deserved! This restaurant offers typical Caribbean food and that is not very common in Rotterdam. In addition, the cocktails are fresh and very tasty.

Cooking with love

At Stobá everything is prepared with love. Hard work with a big smile and lots of friendliness seems to be the norm here. Manager Giannalisa is warm and happily welcomes every guest.

“The word 'Stobá' is a Papiamentu word that means simmering/stewing. It is the way most traditional Curaçaoan dishes are prepared, namely stewing some meat in a pan with fresh vegetables and spices.
We came up with the idea to start with a concept with diversity and something for everyone."

A culinary bridge

What makes Stobá so unique is that it forms a bridge between typical dishes, the culture and atmosphere of Curaçao and the hospitality and free culture in the Netherlands.

They specialise in traditional Curacao dishes and BBQ street food. Coziness and quality are paramount here.
