An interview with the owners of the high-end cosmetic practice JECT Clinics

Meeting the owners

Vinay Balesar is a surgeon, cosmetic doctor and owner of JECT Clinics. Luca Bruin is a cosmetic doctor and owner of JECT Clinics. Vinay and Luca are not only business partners but also married.

Vinay, Luca, what exactly do you do?

"We are both involved in treatments in the clinic and running our company. We have an absolute passion for both activities and that is what makes the work so much fun. We are both on the work floor several days a week as treating physicians, alternating between the three different clinic locations. On the other days we are involved in everything that comes with the company: managing our staff, providing training and education, marketing and social media management and of course we always continue to work on how we can improve our company."

What is JECT Clinics?

"JECT Clinics is a modern clinic for cosmetic injectable treatments, focusing on subtle refinements to emphasise your own natural beauty. With the increasing popularity of cosmetic treatments, we distinguish ourselves from the rest by only going for natural results. Looking your best without it being obvious that cosmetic work has been done is always our goal. We have three locations in The Hague, Amsterdam and recently also in Rotterdam."

You are now also located in Rotterdam, can you tell us something about that?

"Our clinic in Rotterdam has a modern, luxurious but also warm atmosphere. It is our newest location where we have multiple treatment rooms for the doctors. The clinic adheres well to the JECT Clinics house style, as do the other clinic locations. Our locations are characterised by high-gloss natural beige tiles, white and light tones with warmer dark accents. The location in Rotterdam is nice because of its central location, but also a relatively quiet street, which allows our clients to experience a pleasant sense of privacy."

What treatments do you offer?

"We perform cosmetic treatments, including filler and botox treatments, skin-improving treatments such as PRP, Profhilo and skin boosters. Natural lip filler treatments and baby botox treatments are very popular with us. We see women of an average age of 25+ who want to improve features of their appearance or want to take preventive measures to keep their skin in optimal condition. Dr. Balesar (surgeon) also performs cosmetic surgical procedures, such as upper eyelid corrections and the removal of cosmetically disturbing spots."
